We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the MC Companies’ team, Brian Kearney, as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Brian Kearney is responsible for overseeing all aspects of MC operations, and he will work closely with the teams to optimize processes, enhance tenant satisfaction, and drive MC’s continued success.

Brian brings with him a wealth of expertise in real estate spanning back to 1987, and he has a proven track record of driving operational excellence and growth. His extensive professional background encompasses management and executive positions across public, nonprofit, and private sectors. Notably, Brian served a successful tenure as Chief Operating Officer and then President at Gray Development for over seven years, a leading developer named Arizona’s #1 multifamily developer ten times. Brian also launched Catellus Development Corporation’s efforts as master developer for Arizona State University’s Athletic Facilities District, now known as the Novus Innovation Corridor. There he served as First VP of Development for more than eight years. During his tenure, Catellus oversaw the development and execution of a master plan for more than ten million square feet of sustainable private development. His extensive experience in both development and operations will be a tremendous asset to MC Companies.

Aside from Brian’s professional achievements, he is committed to ongoing civic engagement through a variety of organizations over the years, including the boards of directors of the Herberger Theater Center, Phoenix Theater, Arizona Science Center, Downtown Phoenix YMCA, City of Phoenix Bond Committee, Lambda Alpha, and International Downtown Association. Brian has also co-chaired the Arizona Multi-housing Association’s Developer Committee.
