CRC wins 8 Maryland Multi-Housing Association Star Awards

Continental Realty Corporation’s (CRC) company-wide commitment to provide best-in-class residential experiences has resulted in eight Star Awards from the Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA). CRC, a Baltimore-based commercial real estate and investment company, owns and manages more than 9,500 apartment homes throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States, with a 12-state portfolio valued at more than $4 billion. MMHA, an affiliate of the National Apartment Association (NAA), promotes and maintains the highest standards of excellence in the local multi-housing industry, including education plus legislative and advocacy services. MMHA honors industry excellence at its annual Star Awards ceremony.

As a company, CRC earned the Silver Star Award in the Management Company of the Year competition.

Other CRC award highlights include recognition of Courthouse Square, a 526-unit apartment community located in Towson, which was named The Gold Star Award for Garden Community Year in the category evaluating communities with monthly rents between $1,400 and $1,699. In addition, CRC’s Tyrone Simmons, Service Manager at Donnybrook Apartments in Towson, was honored as Service Manager of the Year.

CRC also achieved a Silver Star Award for Falls Village in Baltimore City in the Garden Community of the Year category measuring communities with monthly rents $1399 and below; a Silver Star Award for Westwinds Apartments in Annapolis for communities with monthly rents $1,950 and higher; a Silver Star Award for Service Team of the Year for Donnybrook Apartment’s service team; and a Silver Star Award for Service Manager of the Year Star Award for Virgil Kong, Service Manager at Doncaster Village in Parkville.

The Crossings at White Marsh in Perry Hall earned a Bronze Star Award in the Service Team of the Year category.
