Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company with a portfolio value exceeding $4 billion across 12 states, has promoted Michael Culp to Retail Asset Manager and Head of Business Analytics. Culp had previously interned with the company before starting his full-time career with CRC in 2016.
In this new position with CRC, Culp will continue his responsibilities as Retail Asset Manager where he oversees a portfolio of retail properties spanning several states. Within that scope he is responsible for asset level underwritings, valuations, divestment activities and ongoing financial monitoring and reporting of the portfolio.
As Head of Business Analytics, Culp wears a second hat where he will continue to build-out CRC’s custom reporting and business analytics capabilities across multiple business units including multifamily, retail and debt. Culp has been deeply involved in the creation and customizaiton of the firm’s BI reporting tools since 2017. The tools Mike has built to date have significantly improved the efficiencies and reporting capabilities of the firm and he will continue to be a key driver on future initiatives.
Culp graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore, where he received the Real Estate Department’s Academic Achievement Award and served as Treasurer for the school’s real estate association while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and Economic Development from the Merrick School of Business. He also earned a Masters in Real Estate degree from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2020.
