First two building totaling nearly 70 residential units now completed at 184-unit Five43 Apartments

The first two residential buildings – totaling approximately 70 apartment homes – have been delivered at Five43 Apartments, an upscale multifamily community situated in the Bel Air section of Harford County, Maryland. Peak Management, LLC, an affiliate company of Lutherville-based Hill Management Services, Inc., intends to deliver the remaining three buildings this summer and early fall to bring the total number of units at the development to 184. Five43 Apartments offer a modern, mid-rise living environment with unique design features highlighted by above-average unit sizes and a full-range of amenities to residents. The project is positioned at the intersection of US 1 and MD Route 543.

According to Teresa Rosier, Vice President of Peak Management, the initial building in Five43 Apartments is now approximately 60 percent leased and 50 percent occupied. “Leasing activity is ahead of projections, as local residents have embraced the strategic location of the residential community, the creative interior design and the available amenities,” she said. “Residents are increasingly attracted to larger unit sizes to accommodate people working remotely, having multiple people living within the space and for empty-nesters. We also designed a portion of the apartments with a unique loft design that can be used for an entertainment center, workspace, additional bedroom or for overflow storage.”  

Five43 Apartments offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 980 to 1900 square feet. The apartments are equipped with nine-foot ceilings, open kitchen areas with stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops, luxury flooring, dressing room-sized walk-in closets, full-size washers/dryers, gas fireplaces and lofts in select units, and private balconies. The apartment homes are also outfitted with Smart Home Technology which allows residents to program their thermostats and enjoy remote access into the buildings and apartment homes as well as amenity areas. Private garages, contained in a separate building, are also for rent.

The one-bedroom apartments are outfitted with 1.5 baths, which allows guests to have access to a separate bathroom without the need to enter the resident’s bedroom area. In addition, the three-bedroom floorplan includes three full baths, which is rare to find in this area, even among condominium products. 

Community amenities incorporated in the multifamily development are highlighted by a resort-style pool and a clubhouse containing a transitional gathering room that extends to the outdoor kitchen area and lounge during warmer months. On-site fitness classes are available within the fully-equipped fitness center.  Pampered pet amenities include an on-site dog wash facility with dryer and two dog parks – one for small pets and the other for larger - stocked with agility equipment.    

Numerous retail amenities can be accessed in minutes including neighborhood grocery stores and both sit-down and fast-casual restaurants, with the Main Street section of downtown Bel Air situated four miles away. Harford Community College is approximately three miles from the site and MedStar Health and UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center are also within close proximity.
